Nancy Jo David of Fenwick, Michigan formerly of Hemlock
Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 21, 2019 at her home. She was 64 years old. Nancy Jo Tessin was born on February 20, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Wilburt and Roberta (Sleeseman) Tessin. She was a proud 1972 graduate of Hemlock High School. Nancy married Toby Joe David on June 13, 1998 in Bushnell Township at Shiloh Community Church. She was employed as both a CNA and Activity Director throughout her career with St. Francis Home and Spectrum Health United Hospital. Nancy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hemlock. She enjoyed all types of crafts and ceramics. Above all, Nancy loved spending time with her family, her doberman Pepper Joe and her beloved nieces and nephews. She will forever be remembered for her kind and caring heart, her selfless love and the joy she brought to so many lives by just being present.
Surviving are two sisters, Carol White of Hemlock and June Leddy of Saginaw; longtime companion, Toby Joe David of Fenwick; and many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Otto Tessin; two brothers-in-law, Lowell White and Lawrence Leddy.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd., Hemlock. Burial will follow in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Kimberly White or to a charity of the donors choice.
