Nancy Lucille Pahl joined her husband Rolland Pahl and heavenly father, Tuesday April 7, 2020 surrounded by family at the age of 78 years. Nancy was born to the late Edwin and Jennie Kreger on August 8, 1941 in Hemlock, Michigan where she continued to live her entire life. Nancy married Rolland Pahl April 23, 1960. Her husband of 53 years preceded her in death in 2013. Nancy was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Nancy’s loves included baking lebkuchen cookies to distribute at Christmas, quilting, contributing to community functions including her famous chocolate chip brownies at several St. Pete’s funeral luncheons. Nancy enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers in her yard. Her greatest love was her four grandchildren and her great grandchild Mavis Rae.
Surviving are her children Todd (Keri) Pahl of Grand Blanc, Sheila (Ken Ling) Pahl of East Tawas, her grandchildren; Joshua Pahl of New Orleans, LA, Justin Pahl of Baton Rouge, LA, Alyssa (Ryan Black) Miller of East Tawas, Shelby (Matt Dufort) Miller of Auburn, Michigan and her great granddaughter Mavis Rae Black. A special mention to Pastor William Morris of St. Peter Lutheran Church, a friend, a supporter and confidant.
A private funeral service will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church. A link to the service will be provided at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
