Nancy "Grandma Angel" Garibay

Garibay, Nancy (Buxman) Saginaw, Michigan Our "Grandma Angel" passed away Monday, September 28, 2015, at Covenant Cooper, at the age of 77 years. Nancy Lee Buxman was born February 21, 1938, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Katherine (Fritzler) and John Buxman. She had been employed by Michigan Bean Company. She was a member of the Lutheran Faith. Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was known for her joyous sense of humor. Surviving are four children, Tina Parks and her friend, Bob "Homie" Carroll, and Roberta Hemingway, all of Saginaw; John and Gail Bader, Traverse City; Wendy and Jeremy Shephard, Saginaw; nine grandchildren, Heather, Kristina, Stacy, James Jr., Tricia, Jacob, Brett, Kayden and Josie; eight great-grandchildren, Tasha, Shawna, Christopher, Megan, Tommy, Cole, Olivia and Noah; one sister, Kathleen Kelly; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by an infant son, Barry Bader; two sons-in-law, Tom Parks and Jim Hemingway; one granddaughter, Misty Parks; five sisters and two brothers, Elsie, Art, Helen, Liz, Robert "Junior", Rosie and Judy. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where her family will receive friends from 3:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and then on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
