Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 85 years.
Born in Valhalla, New York on October 18, 1935 to the late Elizabeth Schram. She worked for Schmerheim Electric and later Bay Medical Center where she retired as a telemetry technician. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and participated in many bible study groups. Nancy enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed watching women's basketball.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Susan (Clayton Breiler) and her sons James J. Rutherford, Eric (Stacey) Rutherford, her grandchildren: Ronald "JR" Carey, Graysen, Finley and James Rutherford, great-grandchildren: Traeton and Ty Carey, her sisters Jean Chisolm, Barbara Bladecki, her brother Roy (Sue) Schram and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her mother, Nancy was predeceased by her husband James T, daughter Rebecca Lynne, her brother William and a sister Esther.
The family would like to thank Nancy's friends and prayer warriors: Linda Richards, Judy Rutherford, Grace Eckstorm, Myra Seeblee, Linda Glowacki, Cordie Owens.
In accordance with Nancy's wishes cremation has taken place and memorial services will be announced when it's safe to gather. Those planning an expression may wish to consider Emmaus House, Salvation Army, Peace Lutheran Church and Valley Lutheran High School.
