Nathan Scott Poindexter

Poindexter, Nathan Scott Saginaw, Michigan Beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2018, at home. Age 35 years. Nate was born May 9, 1982, in Saginaw. He graduated from Swan Valley High School with the Class of 2001. Nate enjoyed art, gardening, the outdoors, and animals. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Rosalie (Riggie) Poindexter; his brother, Travis Poindexter and his significant other, Nera Cumurovic; his sister and brother-in-law, Tara and Justin Blaska and their children, Jacob and Laura Rose; his grandparents, Frank Poindexter, Charles and Donna Riggie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He also leaves his very close friend and confidant, Rachel Wachner, and his beloved cat, Daisy. Nate was predeceased by his grandmother, Clarice Poindexter, and by his uncle, Barry Poindexter. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where his family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate.
