Beloved father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly at his home in his sleep, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Age 45 years.
The son of Randolph “Randy” Fisher and the late Debra “Debbie” (Bernard) Fisher, Nate was born on January 11, 1980, in Saginaw, Michigan. Diagnosed with leukemia at the tender age of six, he showed remarkable resilience, entering remission just six months later. His determination and strength characterized his life from an early age. Nate graduated from Bay City Central High School. He then continued his education at Michigan State University, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His professional journey took him through various industries, showcasing his strong work ethic and versatility. A dedicated member of the New Covenant Church in Clio, he was deeply committed to his faith and community. Above all, he was devoted to his family, consistently prioritizing their well-being and happiness. His love for his children, as well as for Sara’s family, was evident in all he did. Nate had a joyful spirit, finding pleasure in shared meals and gatherings, embodying a child-like heart that brought warmth to those around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Molly, Christopher, and Emily Olsen; father, Randy Fisher; sister, Amy (Brian) Lovato, Jennifer (Lisa) Fisher; nephew and niece, Oliver and Penelope Lovato. Also surviving are many extended family members and acquaintances. Besides his mother, Nate was preceded in death by his fiancée, Sara Olsen.
Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Barry Briggs will officiate. Burial will take place at Esmond Evergreen Cemetery, Hale, MI. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the funeral chapel.
