Nelson David Wing

Nelson David Wing Saginaw, Michigan Passed away suddenly Friday, January 30, 2015, at his home. Age 82 years. The son of the late Maude (Shearer) and David Wing was born August 13, 1932 in Saginaw. He married Rosalee D. Pelton, December 13, 1958. She survives him. Nelson graduated from Arthur Hill High School, served with the U.S. Army and received his Bachelor's degree in Business from Michigan State University. His career was in retail management. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, enjoyed fly fishing and was a member and past president of the Wm. B. Mershon Chapter of Trout Unlimited; a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Pioneer club. Surviving besides his wife, Rosalee, are two children and their spouses, Julie and Matthew Fitzgerald, Milford, MA; Andrew and Julie Wing, Howell, MI; four grandchildren, Mark and John Fitzgerald; Adam and Jordan Wing. His brother, Keith, has predeceased him. In accordance with Nelson's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot. Saginaw. Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate.
