Nicole Michelle Royal of Hemlock, Michigan

Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3rd, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. She was 57 years old.

Nicole Michelle Frost was born on July 15, 1967, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Yvonne Bucholz and Mike Siler. She was a proud 1985 graduate of Merrill Community Schools and later attended Delta College. Nicole successfully owned and operated Royal Cleaning Services where she served the community for many years of loyal and dedicated service. Throughout her life, Nicole’s most treasured and cherished role was that of a mother. She poured her heart & soul into her children at every opportunity.

Nicole had a passion for life. She had a love for listening to music, no matter where she was there always had to be good tunes playing. An adventurous spirit, she embraced every moment and every adventure with enthusiasm. Her little piece of heaven was finding the simple beauty in nature, rock hunting upstate on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Vivacious, fun, and outgoing, Nicole lived life on her own terms and to the absolute fullest. Her resilience and determination were unmatched, no challenge was “too” great, no dream “too” impossible, “no” was simply not an option. Nicole was exuberant, authentic, fun-loving, and cool, a true wildflower - forever beautiful and unrestrained. Her resilience and determination were unmatched.

Nicole’s selflessness set her apart from everyone. She had an innate ability to connect with all people by making everyone feel loved, listened to, and valued. Simply put, she was a priceless and profound soul. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity, for the love she had for her children, family, and friends, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.

Surviving are four children: Candace (Dillion Wise) Royal; Racquel (Robert Schoenlein) Royal; Alexandria “Lexi” Lask; Joshua Lask; mother, Yvonne Bucholz; father, Mike Siler; siblings: Melissa (Christopher) Siler-Weaver; Christopher Frost; Aaron (Amy) Siler; Sean Frost; Gretchen Siler; Patrick Frost; Nicholas Siler; Tricia (Nick) Guzinski. Also surviving are countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends too numerous to mention, but held closely to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Alice Bucholz; John Bucholz; Lenore & Francis “Frisky” Frost; Evelyn & John Siler; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and a very special cousin, Brett Siler.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow at Brant Township Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Dalis to the Rescue, 303 Valley Ave., Alma, MI 48801.
