Nina Schrader

Nina Schrader Saginaw Township Passed away Friday March 17, 2017 at her home. At the age of 88 years. Nina was born May 8, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late, Berlin and Lela (Whalen) Smith. Nina married Ernest Schrader April 10, 1948, he predeceased her August 7, 2007. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church. She was employed by St. Mary's Hospital, retiring with 25 years of service. Nina was an avid Detroit Tiger fan. Surviving are her children; Barbara Dinsmoore, David Schrader, Nancy (Mark) Derhammer and Lori (Tom) McGarrity; nine grandchildren; Leslie (Rich) Mrozinski, Scott Coutz, Lisa (Ty) Eimers, Eric Schrader, Nicholas Kemerer, Jennifer (Anthony) Hatch, Erica (Mike) Crowe, Zachary Zsoter, and Heather Zsoter; 10 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Pat Schulz; her care giver Holli Worden.Nina was predeceased by a sister Patsy White The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may call at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
