Noel Ceja

Noel Ceja Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother went home to the Lord on June 29, 2018, at the age of 83 years. Noel was born June 18, 1935, in Saginaw to the late Francisco and Mary (Alvarez) Ceja. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. Noel loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He attended all of their sporting events and coached for their various teams. He was a devout Catholic and regularly prayed for anyone in need. He loved everyone and believed all deserved a chance. Noel married Marie (Aldrich) Ceja on July 27, 1989; she survives him. Besides his wife he will be dearly missed by his children, Jeffery Ceja, Mary (Eric) Nelson, Bob (Karen) Himmelein, Chris Himmelein and Joe (Christa) Himmelein; grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan, Jeffery and Maddison Ceja, Brandon, Noah, Austin and Ashley Himmelein, Dylan Johnson, Kooper, Kendal and Khloe Himmelein, Savannah and Braylen Himmelein, and Clae Henderson; extended grandchildren, Brooklyn Rohn and Bryella Price; siblings Rachel, Jerry (Linda), Hector (Janette), Harold and Richard; special sister-in-law, Debra Ceja; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Zoey. He was predeceased by his siblings, Raul, Helen, Elva and Elpidia. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at St. Dominic Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church 2711 Mackinaw Road. Burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post 439. Friends may visit with the family at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Dominic Parish.
