Wegner, Norma J. (Lolmaugh) passed away Friday, December 25, 2020; at the age of 82. Daughter of the late Elmer & Verma (Tucker) Lolmaugh, Norma was born February 26, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Clarence Wegner on September 15, 1956; he preceded her in death on February 27, 2003. Norma worked for many loyal and dedicated years at Hemlock Public Schools, until she retired. She was a member of Merrill Wesleyan Church. Norma served as Treasurer of the Saginaw Area Reading Council and was a longtime member of the Michigan Reading Association. She received the International Literacy Award for being dedicated to the reading needs of children.
Norma leaves one son, two daughters and their spouses: Larry & Jodi Wegner of Hemlock; Brenda & Jim Case of Arizona; Kristi & Todd Stutz of Highland. She was beloved grandmother to four grandchildren: Bob Wegner; Lisa Wegner; Hailey (Diego) Reategui; Shayne Stutz; two great-grandchildren: Rosalee & Lexie Wegner; a brother: Marvin (Gerry) Lolmaugh; and a sister-in-law: Arlene Besner. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Norma is preceded in death by her brother: Leland Lolmaugh.
Norma’s life will be celebrated in a private family funeral service at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tim Morris will officiate with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Mausoleum and Cemetery.
