Norris N. Nothelfer Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 81 years. Norris was born May 29, 1935, in Saginaw to the late Emil and Marie (Roy) Nothelfer. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Norris married Frances A. Fite on October 26, 1963; she predeceased him October 22, 2008. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and country music. He was an avid fan of Hank Williams Sr. He was a freemason and member of various lodges and American Legions in the surrounding area. He enjoyed serving the community of Richland Township and completed many activities to improve the area. He is survived by his daughter, Audrey Winchell; his grandchildren, Johnny Keys, Tammy Keys, Joelle Erskine, Norris (Nicole) Fleming, Tawnya (Tom) Kanyo, Franciene (Dennis) Hignite, Jason Keys, Justin Fleming; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Audrey, Orin (Barb), Joyce, and Bernard; son-in-law, Edward LaLonde; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughters, Anita Kaye LaLonde, and Jeannie Benning; and siblings, Emil, Farnumn, Justin, Donelda, Ione, and Dixie. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. John XXIII Parish St. St. Mary's Catholic Church. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 439. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
