Savage, Olga C. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on May 13, 2013 at St. Francis Home at the age of 102 years. The daughter of the late Carl and Caroline (Fischer) Blasch was born on August 9, 1910 in Germany. She married Charles Robert Savage on June 20, 1936; he predeceased her on December 18, 1962. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Olga enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and organizing family gatherings. Her warmth and care of her family will be missed dearly. Surviving are her children; Janet (J. Eugene) Rank, Judith (David A.) Dill, Dennis C. (Shelley) Savage, seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Adam, Gustave, and Henry Blasch, sisters Hulda Blasch, and Theresa Kingham. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Home for the excellent care they gave Olga. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Chaplain Douglas Bassett will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
