Dumbra, Olga Edgerton, Ohio (formerly of Saginaw) Passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 in Edgerton, Ohio with her son and caregiver, Peter, at her side. Olga was born in the Ukraine December 12, 1925 the daughter of the late Tanas and Paska (Orgaranko) Tarapata. After surviving a German work camp in World War II, Olga met the love of her life, Augustinas Dumbra, in a dance hall. It was there in Bilsnof, Germany that they were married November 20, 1948 and then came to the United States in 1949. He predeceased her October 15, 2007. Olga was a member of St. George Catholic Church. Olga is survived by four sons, Victor (Kim) Dumbra, Napoleon, Ohio, Peter Dumbra, Edgerton, Ohio, August Dumbra, Ft. Wayne, Indiana and John (Gail) Dumbra, Saginaw, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Casimir August 7, 2008. The funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church, 2120 Erie Street. Rev. Fr. Thomas Schmied will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
