Olivia Fausta Flores

Passed away suddenly, March 26, 2024, at the age of 82. She left this earth to be with the love of her life, Ray Flores. Olivia was born, December 19, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan to Jesus and Petra (Ortega) Torrez. She attended St. Joseph Parish School from Kindergarten through graduation. Olivia dedicated her life to her family and raising her two sons. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Olivia enjoyed cooking, baking and was an avid bargain shopper who loved buying things for her family.  She also enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially basketball and attending her grandchildren’s games also.    

Olivia is survived by her sons Steven (Laura) Flores and Carlos (Amanda) Flores; grandchildren, Adriana, Andres (AJ), Kyler, Kayla, Ana, and Saylor Flores; siblings: Ramona Diaz De Leon, Lupe Torrez, Joe Benny (Patty) Torrez, George (Narse) Torrez, Angie Torrez and Mary Ellen Torrez; Sisters in Law:  Alice Torrez and Loretta Torrez.  She also had many nephews, nieces, several sisters and brothers-in-law.  

Olivia was predeceased by her parents Jesus and Petra Torrez and three brothers, Ernesto Torrez, David Torrez and Robert Torrez. 

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave, Saginaw, MI 48601. Rev. Fr. Francis W. Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at the church on Tuesday.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with W.
