Blodgett, Orison Riley Saginaw, Michigan Passed away early Friday, July 05, 2013, at Luther Manor. Age 81 years. He was born August 6, 1931, in Orlando, Florida, the son of the late Myrtle (Iceminger) and Steven F. Blodgett. He served with the US Air Force from 1951 1955, during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors in 1992, after 30 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #22. Riley enjoyed working on cars and building model airplanes. He married Cheryl A. Schultz on March 28, 2003; she survives him. He also leaves three sons, one daughter, and their spouses: Thomas and Kimberly Blodgett; Lynn and Harry Coty; John and Pam Blodgett; Donald and Kathy Blodgett; two step-children, Alicia Doyle and Branden Doyle; twelve grandchildren, Daniel, Kristen, Sara, Bryan Sr., Megan, Jonathon, Justin, Don Jr., David, Joel, Dustin, and Branden Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, James, Bryan Jr. and Kristoffer; two sisters and one brother, Frances, Barbara and Roy; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Funeral services will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Military committal services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
