Pamela "Pam" Mary Mader of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, fiancée, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 62 years old. Pamela Mary Hickmott was born on April 16, 1961, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Kenneth and Carol (Peters) Hickmott. She was a proud 1979 graduate of Bridgeport High School. Following graduation, she attended Delta College where she studied Housekeeping. Pam worked as a waitress at Render's Restaurant in Bridgeport and worked as a housekeeper at the Perry Schuch Hotel in the evenings. She later worked as waitress at the Texan Restaurant on Holland, Jonathan's Sports Pub, and the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Pam was a selfless and caring woman and used her ability to care for people as a caregiver with Faith & Family Services. The role of her lifetime was to be a loving mother and grandmother. She was loyal and dedicated at selling Avon products and enjoyed the friendships she made over the years. Pam was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved watching their games with her fiancé William "Bill" Rivett. Her little piece of heaven was spending time with her three grandchildren: Aliyah, Austin, and Ashton, as well as her beloved dog, Lola. She will forever be remembered for her love for flowers, especially her love for lilacs and peonies, for her love of playing Bingo and the Lottery, for drinking a cold Pepsi, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.

Surviving are a son, Gerald Kenneth Mader of Saginaw; daughter, Katie Lynn Mader of Saginaw; a fiancé, Bill Rivett of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Aliyah Mader, Austin Mader, and Ashton Mattis of Saginaw; five siblings and their spouses: Cindy (Rodney) Warren of Alpena; Kathy Romo of Saginaw; Ken Hickmott and his girlfriend, Janiene Hampton of Prescott; Brenda (Cole) Johnson of Saginaw; Gaven Hickmott of Detroit. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marilyn Mader; and a former spouse, Gerald Mader.

A Funeral Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor J.D. Howell will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Katie or Jerry Mader.
