Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Ascension St. Marys spending her last few moments with her son. She was 80 years old. Patricia A. Steffler was born on November 8, 1938 in Elwood City, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence and Ethel (Buchanan) Steffler. She was a proud graduate of Zelienople High School. Following graduation, Patricia attended college for two years before she married the love of her life, H. L. "Bud" Agnew, on August 29, 1959; he preceded her in death on October 2, 1994. Pat was employed with Saginaw Valley College as a bookkeeper; retiring after many years of service. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Pat enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, golfing and watching sports, especially cheering for her favorite team, the Detroit Lions. Above all, she loved and cherished her family and friends.
Surviving are one son, William Agnew and his wife, Andrea Jones of Palm Harbor; one grandson, Lucas Agnew of Palm Harbor; a sister-in-law, Elsie Dunn of Grove City, PA. Also surviving are many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Chet and Robert Steffler and Beverly Sutch; and her beloved dog, Phoenix.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Mausoleum.
