Patricia Anne Bublitz

Pat went home January 22, 2017, age 72. Born in Santa Rosa California to Harvey and Henrietta Rice, who predecease her, Pat was raised mostly in Houston Texas. Pat married Gene Wagle and moved to Saginaw in the late 60's. Gene predeceased her. Pat married Gary Bublitz in 1981 and they were together until she passed. Pat has three lovely daughters, Rene' (Scott) Chinery, Anne Winslow, and Debbie (Bill) Dewey. Pat has eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren who were the love of her life. Her grandchildren are Sean, Jordan, and Lexi Chinery, Tyler and Dylan Winslow, Hannah and Jacob Dewey, and Ashley Clark. Her great grandchildren are Bella, Liam, and Zoey Chinery, Lilly Jewell-Chinery, Ahutum Kendall, and Spencer Gagnon. Pat's special family members include Barbara Poe and her children. Pat loved gardening as well as her crafts and charities. She was a very caring person. Nursing was Pat's calling and she worked for Covenant, Luther Manor, and Hoyt as well as operating an adult foster care home with her husband Gary before illness and accident forced her to give these up. Pat's brother Harvey Rice Jr. and her sister Cathy Wascom predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Mary Street. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Good Shepherd Lutheran church, 5335 Brockway Rd. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Memorial contributions may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
