Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the age of 81 years.
The daughter of the late William and Mildred (Smith) Peterson was born on April 30, 1938 in Edmore, MI. Patricia married Robert M. Wieck on March 12, 1960; he predeceased her on February 13, 2018. She worked at Vlasic Pickle and Kresge's Five and Dime Store. Patricia was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. She enjoyed nurturing her flower gardens and watching the birds in the yard. Patricia cherished time spent going “up north” with family and stops at the casino. She most especially loved time spent with her grandchildren and her cat, Happy. Patricia truly loved her family and her holiday gatherings were extra special and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her children: Kelly Dolson and her husband, Michael; Mark Wieck; two grandchildren: Jeremy Challenger and his Fiancé, Jennifer Wajer; William Dolson; two brothers: Robert Peterson, David (Joyce) Peterson, many nieces, nephews, relatives and a special friend of the family, Joel Richardson. Besides her parents and husband, Patricia was predeceased by her siblings: James Peterson, William Peterson, Shirley Batrow, Donna Fritzler, and sister-in-law Margaret Peterson.
Due to the world-wide health crisis, private services will take place. Burial will be next to her husband, Robert at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
