Patricia M. Haven

Haven, Patricia M. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home, age 81 years. Patricia Leitz was born June 9, 1934 in James Township, Michigan the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Trinklein) Leitz. She married Thomas Haven January 16, 1954 and he survives her. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church for 55 years. She worked as the secretary at Holy Spirit for many years and also worked at Holy Spirit Credit Union, now Area One Credit Union. Pat was an accomplished seamstress, did some painting and wrote for the Valley Journal. She and Tom spent many years traveling together throughout the United States. In addition to her husband, Tom, Patricia is survived by three children, Renee Lenk, David (Stacy) Haven and Mark (Amy) Haven; five grandchildren, Misty, Thomas, Morrisa, Danielle and Tucker; seven great-grandchildren, Samantha, Mathias, Emma, Elliott, Owen, Hailey and Avery; a sister-in-law, Irene Leitz and an aunt, Helen Trinklein; She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Richard and Robert; four sisters, Beverly, Kathleen, Geraldine and Shirley. The Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Thursday from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where they may join the family for a parish vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at church Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.
