Patsy Mable Yanna

Patsy Mable Yanna, formerly known as Patsy Mable Spitz, passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 80 years, in her hometown of Saginaw, MI. Born on March 26, 1943, 

Patsy dedicated a significant portion of her career to serving others. She worked diligently as a waitress and dishwasher, ensuring that people's dining experiences were enjoyable. In addition to this, she also worked in foster care homes, providing love and support to those who needed it the most.

Outside of work, Patsy had various hobbies and interests that brought her joy. In her younger years, she loved playing BINGO and crocheting. She found pleasure in playing scratch-off lottery tickets and completing word searches.

Patsy leaves behind a loving legacy through her two daughters: Patricia Ann (Paul George Troup) Yanna and Linda Sue (Raymond) Jacklin. Her devotion to family extended to five grandchildren: Tina M. (Anthony) Dennis, James A. Yanna, Raymond J. (Molly) Jacklin II, Brittany A. (boyfriend Zabriel Tolston) Yanna, Haylee L. (boyfriend David Lennox) Jacklin; as well as seven great-grandchildren: Gage, Jace, Greyson, Camden Brantley Gunner, and Lennox.

She is also survived by her dear brother Donald (Jan) Spitz of Saginaw as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who were fortunate to have known her warmth and kindness.

Patsy was predeceased by her siblings: Carl Spitz, Jacob Spitz, Mary Massey, Millie Gotham, Frances Griffus, Betty Smith, Bob Spitz, and Harold Spitz and her close friend group: Janice J., Marylou, Gloria, and Blonde.

The family would like to thank the staff at Avista Nursing and Rehab Center for the loving care they gave Patsy these last two years.

Memorial service for Patsy will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.  Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the memorial service.
