Paul Alfred Schmittou

Schmittou, Paul Alfred Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre, age 85 years. Paul was born in Slayden, Tennessee May 29, 1928 the son of the late Zina Ernest and Ora (Ferrell) Schmittou. He married Ruth Waynick August 23, 1948 and she survives him. Paul retired from Wolverine Tractor & Equipment Co. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his son, Wayne Schmittou; his daughter, Judy (Bob) Holtzapple; a granddaughter, Jamie (Sonny) Earls; two great-grandsons, Colin and Brandon; a sister, Helen (Tom) Smith. He was predeceased by two brothers, Perry and Ernest Schmittou. The funeral service will take place 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013 at W. L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate. Burial will take place in Pinegrove Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013. Friends may visit with the family Sunday at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
