Paul Kevin Donahou

Paul Kevin Donahou, born on November 19, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on September 9, 2024. He was the cherished son of the late John Paul Donahou and Ellen Mary (Leuenberger) Donahou.

Paul's education began at Bridgeport High School, where he graduated as a member of the class of 1978. His time at high school was marked by his passion for football and his involvement in the C.O.C. program in parks and recreation.

For over a decade, Paul dedicated himself to St. Mary's Hospital, where he established a reputation as a diligent worker. Known for his social nature, he cultivated friendships that enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

As an avid sports enthusiast, Paul's interests extended beyond his professional life. He relished playing little league baseball and was known for his love of sports. His enthusiasm for competition also found expression in darts, where he enjoyed friendly matches with friends. A true auto aficionado, he took great pleasure in fast cars, especially his beloved Impala, Cutlass Supreme, and Spitfire.

Family gatherings held a special place in Paul's heart, particularly those centered around meals featuring his favorite dish—spaghetti. The joy of spending time with loved ones was a fundamental aspect of his character and brought him much happiness.

Paul is survived by his beloved sister and her spouse Mary and Joseph Sylvester. He leaves behind two nephews and their spouses Richard John and Aimee Herzberg, and Kyle Wolfgang and Shelby Herzberg. Additionally, he is survived by his three great-nephews, Kyle, Remington, and Roy, and remembered fondly by his great-aunt Marian Kasper.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 5700 Dixie Hwy, Saginaw, MI 48601. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, officiate by Rev. Timothy Behnke, with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
