Our loving companion and brother, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. Age 83 years.
Paul was born on March 25, 1939, son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Miller) Raysis, in Saginaw. He served in the United State Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #22. Paul retired from EATON Manufacturing after 30 years of dedicated service, as an Electrician. He enjoyed hunting, camping, swimming and collecting. Paul was “the life of the party”, loved spending time with his family, hosting large gatherings and taking pictures as keepsakes of the great memories made. Paul and Beth traveled the states together and enjoyed living in Florida as “Snowbirds”.
Surviving are his lifelong companion, Beth MacFarlane; sisters, Betty Lockwood and Jan (Richard) Gaunt; many nieces and nephews; aunt, Shirley Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Sandy) MacFarlane, Mike (Nancy) MacFarlane, Michele (Rick) Tepatti, Joyce (Greg) Wojewoda, Judy MacFarlane and Kathy (Mark) Sanburn. He was predeceased by his nephew, Dennis Gaunt, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorothy MacFarlane.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
