Paul Walter Jerry, Sr. of Hemlock, Michigan
Father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Medilodge of Frankenmuth. He was 69 years old. Paul Walter Jerry Sr. was born on March 9, 1952, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Louis Andrew and Wilma Jane (Fehn) Jerry. At a very young age, Paul learned there was dignity in labor and working with his hands. He worked within the construction industry for well over 30 years. One of his most talked about projects was participating in the construction of the Zilwaukee Bridge. Paul lived his life to the fullest, always in his own way, and followed that journey wherever it led. He will forever be remembered for his carefree spirit and his love for sweet tooth snacks
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a special niece, Danielle, and her daughter, “the little one”, as Paul would often ask how she was doing. Additionally, the family would like to special thank you to Paul’s great niece, Nikki Whelton, for her caring and tender heart, and to his brother Kenneth Jerry for all the love and care he provided to Paul.
Surviving are his children: John Pierson of Merrill; Paul Walter Jerry, Jr. of Midland; Amy (Randy) Bromberg of Linwood; Nicholas Jerry of ND, Ashley Jerry of Ocala, FL; Joseph Jerry of Ocala, FL; Jennifer Vereb of St. Louis; many loved grandchildren; siblings: Katherine (Buddy Smith) Jerry of Hemlock; Michael (Kathy) Jerry of Sanford; Kenneth Jerry of Saginaw; William Jerry of Hemlock; sister-in-law, Ellen Jerry of Midland; and a special mentor, Merle Liebrock of Hemlock.
