Paulette L. Fish-Ghazanfari

Passed away after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Age 61 years. She was born on July 19, 1957, daughter of the late Lorraine (Swanson) and Jerry Fish, Sr., in Saginaw. Paulette was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1975 and a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, collected lighthouses and loved animals. Paulette was a joyful, strong woman, always smiling. Even when she was in pain, it was hard to tell. Paulette will be missed by her daughter, Melissa Strobel-Nichols; grandchildren, Lorraine Strobel and Lakota Billington; her siblings, Diane (J.J.) Mraz, Jerry (Mary) Fish, Jr., her twin sister, Pauline (Bobby Jr.) Williams and Eileen (Chris) Bosley; her companion, Donald Stone; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Kevin Ghazanfari and her sister, Sharon Kelsey. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Sheridan Road Baptist Church, 6911 Sheridan Road. Pastor Lou Jurva will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
