Pauline "Polly" Ann Lynch of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 84 years old. Pauline Ann Krueger was born on March 19, 1939, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Frank H. and Marie A. (Gaertner) Krueger. She was the homecoming queen and a proud 1957 graduate of SS. Peter & Paul High School. Polly met the love of her life, R. Thomas Lynch, while roller skating at Brockway Roller Rink. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on January 17, 1958; he preceded her in death on December 2, 1999. Following graduation, Polly worked as a secretary and paralegal with Polasky, Meisel, & Rosenbaum, Attorneys at Law. She later opened her own business specializing in estates and trusts, working with many attorneys throughout the Saginaw Community. Polly later began working for Second National Bank rising to the rank of Vice President of Trust and Investments, continuing her role as they transitioned into Citizen's Bank. Upon retirement, she went on to work at TriStar Trust Bank where she also served as Vice President. The role of her lifetime, and one she treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother
An excellent communicator, she loved socializing with anyone and everyone. Polly civically and professionally served her community as a member of the Northeast Estate Planning Council, Saginaw Choral Society Board member, instructor in the Perry School of Banking, adjunct professor in the paralegal program at Delta College, St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary and was a founding member of Women in Leadership. Polly was a graduate of the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, and a graduate of the ABA National Graduate Trust Schools.
She was a longtime and faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she served on the befriender ministry, as a lector, and was a Eucharistic Minister. In 2007, Polly became a licensed Lay Minister through the Diocese of Saginaw, and headed the Grief Ministry Program, which was her focus throughout her training. Having traveled the grief journey, Polly wanted to assist others going through this very painful time in their lives.
Polly's little piece of heaven and legacy was her children and grandchildren, they were the highlights of her life. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she loved playing cards.
She will forever be remembered for her ambition and drive, for writing beautiful and eloquent published poems and articles, for her unconditional and selfless love to anyone she cared for, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many fun memories and stories.
