Pedro Rivera

Rivera, Pedro Saginaw, MI Passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home at the age of 65 years. The son of Theresa (Hernandez) and the late Salvador Rivera was born on September 24, 1949 in Marian, Arkansas. He married Tina Podojak on October 20, 1978; she survives him. Pedro worked in construction and retired from the local #1075. Pedro enjoyed working on projects, and was a master mechanic. He also was a tattoo artist and enjoyed hunting and collecting guns and knives. Surviving besides his wife Tina, and his mother Theresa are his children: Steve (Lisa) Rivera, Bobby Rivera, Pedro (Frances) Rivera II, Santino Rivera, Sergio Rivera, Rhonda (Arsenio) Rivera, Zachary Rivera, Lori Rivera, Chica Rivera, Gary Martinez, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren including a special grandchild; My'Angel, his siblings: Basilio Flores, Erlinda Rivera, Chavela Rivera, Mary Rivera, his mother-in-law, Lila Podojak, his best friend, Leo Martinez and many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his siblings: Guadalupe Rivera, Esther Rivera, Irene Rivera, Jessica Rivera, Benita Martinez, and his father-in-law Joseph Podojak. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
