Peggy June (Berger) Hinterman Railling

Peggy June (Berger) Hinterman/Railling (age 88) was born on June 17, 1927 to the late George and Flossie Berger of Hemlock. She passed into life everlasting on December 26, 2015. On July 8, 1946 she married Ernest W. (Toby) Hinterman. After the death of Ernest she married James Railling of Saginaw on August 18, 1989. She was blessed with two great husbands in her life. She gained a strong work ethic from working in the families' general store. Whether she was running a small fruit farm, selling World Book Encyclopedias or establishing her own small business (Peg's Sewing Room) she worked hard, and made sure her family was well cared for. Later she got involved in arts and crafts. She developed many beautiful and creative items that are highly treasured by those who loved her. She is survived by her beloved, husband James Railling of Zephyrhills, Fl, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Wyer of Phoenix, Az., children: Holly & Lloyd VanMeter of Knightstown, IN and their three children and , seven grandchildren, Sondra Hinterman of Zephyrhills, FL, Chris & Marcia Hinterman of Traverse City and their three children and ten grand children and Theodore and Juanita Hinterman of Merrill and their four children and four grand children, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters: Kenneth and Ruth Berger of Gladwin, Rolland Wayne Berger of Mi, Laurence Ray Berger of Hemlock (Gloria, of Tx.), Loretta and Joseph Alfred Loubert, of Hemlock; nieces and nephews: Laurence Ray Berger II of Tx. Jon D Loubert of Hemlock, Carolyn Loubert of Hemlock, Dennis W Loubert of Hemlock, Rolland John Berger of Hemlock. Memorial services are planned for February 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Merrill Wesleyan Church - Rev. Tim Morris presiding. With visitation from 10:00 -11:00 at the church, The family requests that no flowers be provided but that those who wish to do so would make a donation to any cancer society.
