Panko, Jr., Philip Bay City, Michigan Passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 100 years. The son of the late Philip and Mary L. (Lalo) Panko Sr. was born on July 24, 1915. He married Elsie Wilson in October of 1943; she predeceased him on June 9, 1944. Philip was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked as a farmer and enjoyed woodworking. He even had his own saw mill where he made wood moldings. Philip also enjoyed going to auctions and spending time with his family. Surviving are many nieces and nephews including John Panko and Susan Vasallo. He was predeceased by five brothers: John, Joseph, Frank, Michael, and Thomas Panko. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F. M.
