Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 9, 2020 surrounded by her family at Mid- Michigan Medical Center at the age of 87 years. The daughter of the late William and Mabel (Dashner) Hopper was born on April 9, 1933 in Carrollton Michigan. She married William Eaton on November 3, 1952, they were married for 65 years before Bill passed away on June 8, 2017.

Phyllis was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening and being outdoors. She had a knack for taking care of people. Phyllis offered a meal for anyone who came into her home. She was a traditional woman, cooking, cleaning and caring for her family all year around. She even hung her clothes outside on the line all year. Above all she was a prayer warrior and cherished her time spent with her family.

Phyllis is survived by her three sons: William (Kathy) Eaton of Stanwood, Henry (Rose) Eaton of Florida and Michael (Mary) Eaton of Midland. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Billy, Brad, Brian, Tamara, Angie, Henry Jr., Brailea, Alexsandra, Matthew, Debra, Lara, Trinna and seven great grand children. Her sister Beverly Hopper Dupius also survives her.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband William and her siblings Bill Hopper, Jerry Hopper and Cleon Hopper.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
