Kotcher, Phyllis June Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare, age 82 years. Phyllis was born in Flint, Michigan October 29, 1930 the daughter of the late Watson and June (Koslick) Warner. She married Jay Kotcher March 25, 1950 and he survives her. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church; a member of VFW Post No. 9809 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards on Wednesdays with her card group; playing bingo and going to the casino. Phyllis enjoyed traveling in the western part of the United States; going to Hawaii and a cruise to the Cayman Islands. In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by three children, Candace Kotcher (Diane Crook), Jody (Randy) Duve and Scott (Dawn) Kotcher; three grandchildren, Danielle, Eli and Erek; two sisters, Judy Wyatt and Patti (George) Davis; a brother, Guy (Laurel) Warner; a brother-in-law, Bill (Vi) Kotcher; two sisters-in-law, Eunice Kotcher and Colleen (Dick) Tamm; close family friends, Mary Whyte and Betty Bradfield. She was predeceased by her son, Jay Kotcher a grandson, Kyle Duve and a brother, Richard Warner. The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4460 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Thursday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 p.m. and at church Friday from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
