Randy G. Hunter

Our loving husband and father passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Age 73 years. 

Randy was born on November 7, 1950, son of the late Randy and Gertrude (Edwards) Hunter, in Saginaw. He married Stacy Gallery on August 27, 1983. She survives him. Randy retired from General Motors, Malleable Iron Plant in 1996 after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed carpentry and woodworking, cooking and grilling delicious meals for his family. Randy had a great sense of humor and got a kick out of watching Judge Judy daily. The greatest love was for his family. Being a loving husband and father, he was a great listener and gave the best advice. 

Randy is survived by his wife, Stacy Hunter; daughter, Alaina Hunter; sisters-in-law, Lynn Hunter and Holly Hart; brothers-in-law, Bart Gallery and David Gallery; many nephews and nieces; special friend, Warren (Rosie) Watkins. He was preceded in death by his son, Dallas Hunter; sisters, Wanda Cribbins and Wilma Hunter, brothers, Mark Hunter, Gary Hunter and Val Hunter; mother-in-law, Nellie Gallery, sister-in-law, Leisha Gallery and brothers-in-law, Brett Gallery and Clare Hart. 

Randy’s family would like to extend their appreciation for the exceptional care of him by the nurses and Dr. Amjad Nader at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper SICU.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road.
