Ray Rigg Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Covenant- Cooper. Age 89 years. The son of the late Amelia (Wenzel) and Ray Rigg Sr. was born August 16, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill Tech and Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1943. He was employed by Henry Electric, Rems Electric and Cotter Electric. He was an active member or Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Salina-Pioneer Lodge #79 F. the Bay City Consistory; and the Elf Khurafeh Shrine. He was an avid Detroit Tiger Baseball fan, enjoyed playing pool, bowling, drawing, fishing and walking. He loved animals and going to his cottage at Point Lookout. Surviving are his nieces and nephews and their spouses. His special niece and caregiver, Janice and Richard Pope; Rod and Debbie Butler; Gregory and Barb Butler; Sandra (Feit) and Fred Markl; Becky Clark; several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews; a great aunt, Rose Kreuger and a great uncle, Tom Wenzel. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Willard Rigg, Lila Butler, Valeria Rigg and Duane Rigg. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4460 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday where the Salina-Pioneer Lodge #79 F. & A.M. will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, Transportation Fund or Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
