Beloved father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friends passed away peacefully with his mother buy his side on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. He was 54 years old. Raymond Allen Smith was born January 8, 1966, in Saginaw, Michigan to William Herbert and Janet Lorraine (Kennedy) Smith. He enjoyed play games online with his friends and connecting with people via Facebook. Ray will forever be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and the laughter she shared with family and friends throughout his life.
Surviving are his mother, Janet Lorraie Smith of Saginaw; four children: Shanena Smith of Lansing; Logan Diaz Pons of Midland; Chantal Smith of Mt. Pleasant; Andrew Smith of Texas; six grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Lori Hemmingway, Joseph (Cindy) Smith, and0 Anthony Smith. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Herbert Smith.
