Raymond James Strudgeon, age 61, of Saginaw, MI, beloved father, grandfather, son, uncle and brother, was called to his Glory on April 18, 2019 with his family by his side. He was united in Holy matrimony with his wife, Veronica (Flores) in Saginaw on February 5, 2005. She predeceased him on October 9, 2017. Surviving are his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Karen (Brian) Leaym; Rusty (Peggy) Strudgeon; Kathy (Eric) Pattok; John Strudgeon; a half-sister, Cherry (Ray) Huntoon; a half-sister, Diane Goodboo; his children, Tracy (Heath) Morden; Jennifer Strudgeon; Raymond A. (Lisa) Strudgeon; Daniel Strudgeon; Alexandra (Armando) Rodriguez; His surviving grandchildren, the loves of his life, are Olivia and Tanner Morden, Bam and Kyra Cullimore, Melody and Sai Strudgeon, Harmony Strudgeon and Christina Rodriguez; and many nieces, nephews and Goddaughters. Ray was also predeceased by his parents Raymond W. and Mary S. (Bobic) Strudgeon and his brother Robert Strudgeon. Raymond was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Saginaw Gun Club. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Ray graduated from Bridgeport High School. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. The funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th St. Fr. Frank W. Voris, O.F. M. Cap will officiate with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie HWY on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. where a Vigil and Rosary service will take place at 7:00 p.m.
