Rebecca A. Mangas, known to her loved ones as Autumn Brooks, has peacefully passed away in Saginaw, MI on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1969, to her father, the late James Leroy David, Sr., and her mother, Marian Nora Weston.
Rebecca worked as an accountant for a law firm, bringing dedication and precision to everything she did. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she had a vibrant personality that was apparent through her hobbies. Whether she was crocheting intricate designs, engaging in arts and crafts projects, or finding joy in watching videos on YouTube, Rebecca's creative spirit was truly inspiring.
What brought Rebecca the most happiness, however, was the time she spent with her beloved family. She cherished every moment with her children: Alyssa Mangas, David Mangas, Andre Mangas, Samuel Mangas, Jacob Mangas, and Brian Mangas alongside her grandchildren Kyree Holubik-Black and Mason Maverick Mangas.
In addition to her immediate family, Rebecca is survived by her sister Denice David, her brother, a nephew, as well as a wide circle of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Not to be forgotten is Peanut, her loyal service dog who brought comfort and companionship during her days.
Along with her father, she was predeceased by her fiancé Matthew John Holubik who held a special place in her heart.
Rebecca's legacy of love and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing she touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Private services are planned. Arrangements entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors.
