Reha M. Miller Of Saginaw, MI formerly of Lakeland, FL
Passed away on May 24, 2019. She was 92 years old. Reha was born on September 19, 1926 to the late William Frederick and Bertha (Laux) Weber. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, class of 1944. Reha married Walter Miller on February 13, 1945. He predeceased her on November 16, 2010. She enjoyed a long career as office manager for Arrow Paper Products in Saginaw and as staff accountant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Detroit. Walt and Reha retired to Lakeland, FL in 1986. They enjoyed the warm weather, golfing, and watching the Detroit Tigers during spring training. Reha was involved with their community of Highland Fairways and served on the finance committee for many years. In August of 2014, Reha moved back to her hometown of Saginaw, MI due to her declining health. She belonged to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church while she lived in Lakeland.
She is survived by a son, Thomas (Julia) Miller of Northbrook, IL; a daughter, Jeanne (William) Mueller of Saginaw; two granddaughters, Sara Mueller and Emily (Kamavi) Whitlock; two great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Kenzleigh; two sisters, Elizabeth (Bob) Keefer of Holland, MI and Diann (Tom) Thompson of Midland, MI; a brother-in-law, Clayton Miller of Midland, MI; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Burke and Joan Dunn; and a sister-in-law, Maxine Shivley.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Rd, Saginaw, MI. Rev. Paul Biber will officiate. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or of a charity of their choosing. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hoyt Nursing Home for taking such wonderful care of Reha during her time there.
