Richard A. Watz, Jr.

Passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 75 years. He was born December 19, 1941 in Saginaw to the late Richard A. and Grace (Doyle) Watz. He graduated from SS. Peter and Paul High School in 1960. He married Suzanne DeShone November 9, 1963 and she survives him. He was a member of the Lutheran Faith. Surviving besides his wife are two sons and their spouses, Eric and Jeanne Watz, Saginaw; Aaron and Marcy Watz, Saginaw; three grandchildren, Kayleen (Lukas) Woodcock, Brendon Easlick and Matthew Watz; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Easlick and Henry Woodcock; four brothers and three sisters, Larry (Vickie) Watz, Michael Watz, Harold (Julie) Watz, Patrick Watz, Mary Baudoux, Peggy (Dave) Tattersall, and Michelle Anderson; many nieces and nephews; a special family friend, Marilyn Porter. He was predeceased by his brother, Bill Watz. He was also predeceased by his in-laws, Dolly Watz, Barb Watz, Marilee Watz and Leon Baudoux. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
