Richard Allen Poineau

Richard A. Poineau (Dick) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 69 years. The son of the late Alfred Henry and Donna Joy Poineau was born September 15, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Geraldine Baze, October 4, 1986. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a carpenter, was of the Catholic Faith, enjoyed fishing, computer games, puzzles and most of all his family. Surviving besides his wife, Geraldine, are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Robin (Clinton) Moffit; Keith and Kim Stowell; Lisa and Mark Forte; Erick and Tonya Stowell; a step-daughter, Julie and Alfred Russell; eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle and Jennifer Moffit; Whitney and Ashton Stowell; Ryan and Nick Forte; Eric Jr. and Kimberly Stowell; his sister and brothers and their spouses, Marianne (Bill) Poineau; Robert and Maggie Poineau; James Poineau; his mother-in-law, Margaret Baze; several nieces and nephews. A great grandson, Richard James will be born, September 15, 2013. Two step-daughters, Dawn Ramero and Melody Brister, a great granddaughter, Natalie Hartung, a brother, John Poineau, and two sisters, Nina Brown, Beverly Hartl, many aunts and uncles have predeceased him.
