Richard D. Lewis

Lewis, Richard D. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at his home, following a lengthy illness. Age 84 years. He was born October 12, 1930, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of the late Wayne and Florence (Baldwin) Lewis. He served with the US Army in Okinawa. He had been employed by General Motors Steering Gear Division, retiring after 30 years of service. He married Shirley Curtis on November 9, 1957; she survives him. He also leaves one daughter and one son, Debby Badder and Mark Lewis, both of Saginaw; three grandchildren, Brett Brown, Kelly Szymanski and Chad Brown; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ken Lewis, Florida. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Russell Badder, and by five brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place.
