Richard E. Riebschleger

Our loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. Age 73 years.

Dick was born on October 29, 1949, son of the late Earl and Mary (Koinis) Riebschleger, in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1967. He went on to attend Central Michigan University and later became an Electrician with General Motors. Dick retired with over 30 years of dedicated service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #455. He married Sandra Ruppel on May 10, 1968. She survives him. Dick enjoyed flying and volunteered as a pilot for the Saginaw County Sheriffs Department. After retirement, he went on to grow and work his own small farm. He always enjoyed caring for his animals over the years and tinkering around fixing things. Above all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra; sons, Richard A. (Kate) Riebschleger and Michael E. (Lori) Riebschleger; grandchildren, Kennedy, Emily, Matthew and Krina Riebschleger; brothers, David (Joanne) Riebschleger, Peter Riebschleger and Ron (Tracie) Riebschleger; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 9, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road, with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Chapel from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.
