Richard F. Morse

Morse, Richard F. Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2013, at the age of 83. Richard was born March 15, 1930, in Detroit, MI to the late Finley and Mabel (Wood) Morse. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors Buick Division. Richard enjoyed spending time at his cottage, boating, fishing, and going to the casino. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Deloris (Recker) Morse; children, Janet (Daniel) Straley, Steve Morse, Michael (Kelly) Morse, Beverly (Martin) Lee; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hailey, Joshua, Adam, Andrew, Eric, Ryan, Megan, Jenna; and his brother Edward "Bob" (Mary Lou) Morse. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church 4460 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of VFW Post #1859 of Carrollton. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
