Richard “Duffy” James Allen of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 26, 2020. He was 67 years old. Richard James Allen was born on February 6, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Mark Bernard and Phyllis Viola (LaValley) Allen. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but above all, he loved fast cars and spending time with his family.

Surviving are a daughter and two sons: Kristy Allen of Saginaw; Jason Allen of Saginaw; Kenneth Bruske of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Travis Allen of Saginaw; Zachary Allen of Saginaw; Allison Allen of Saginaw; one great-granddaughter, Harley Jean Allen; five sisters and two brothers: Helen Erickson of Flint; Bonnie DeSmith of TX; Gary S. Allen and Laura McNeil of Saginaw; Mary Jane Allen of Bridgeport; Nancy (Craig) Simon of West Branch; Terry (Lorie) Allen of West Branch; Brenda Grames of Saginaw; sister-in-law, Donna Allen of FL. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Duffy was preceded in death by two brothers: Mark Allen, Jr. and Donald Allen.
