Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021; at the age of 91 years.

The son of the late John and Clara (Czech) Buska, Richard was born on May 8, 1929 in Hatley, Wisconsin. He proudly served in the United States Air Force in Korea, during the Korean War. Returning from Korea, Richard was stationed at the Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Oscoda, Michigan; where he met Jacqueline B. Parker. He was honorably discharge on February 15, 1955. Richard married his loving wife, Jacqueline, on May 7, 1955, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Saginaw, Michigan; she survives him. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing, tending to his backyard birds, working in the yard and gardening. Above all, Richard cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife of nearly 66 years: Jacqueline B. Buska; are two sons, one daughter and their spouses: Michael and Janice Buska, Saginaw, Michigan; Kathleen and Larry Allen, Spring, Texas; Tim and Linda Buska, Saginaw, Michigan; eight grandchildren: Beth (Willym) Cederberg, Laurie Buska, Ryan Allen, Elizabeth (David) Quintanilla, Tyler Allen, Kyle Allen, Bradley Buska, Emily Buska; two great-grandchildren: Landen and Cameron Cederberg; two brothers and a sister: Donald Buska, Florida; Arlene Passel, Wisconsin; Thomas (Pamela) Buska, Wisconsin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and Richard Gunther of St. Charles, MI; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Richard was preceded in death by eight brothers: Leonard Buska, Chester Buska, Edwin Buska, Norman Buska, Jerome Buska, Roland Buska, Robert Buska, Rodney Buska; four sisters: Alice Keck, Mary Buska, Dorothy Stark, Marilyn Jaecks.

Private funeral service will take place at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Military Honors will take place under the auspices of the United States Air Force and American Legion Post 22 at the cemetery.
