Richard Lee "Rick" Mihalic, Sr.

Richard Lee "Rick" Mihalic, Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the age of 68. Rick was born November 24, 1946, in Saginaw to Marion (Pillsbury) Mihalic and the late Frank G. Mihalic. Besides his mother he is survived by his children, Richard (Lisa) Mihalic, Jr., Michael (Tricia) Mihalic, Jody (David McKathan) Mihalic; grandchildren, Steven, Amanda, Morgan, and Nick Mihalic; brother, Frank J. Mihalic; nieces and nephews, Michele and Justen Schian, Melissa and Dan Durow, and Jessica (Brent) Mihalic. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Mihalic and his sister-in-law, Joan Mihalic. The family would like to thank Wanneka Barnes for her friendship and kindness. Rick was a recognized billiards player throughout Saginaw and sanctioned member of the A.P.A. He was an avid perch fisherman and enjoyed preparing his catch for dinner for his family. He was a skilled self-employed carpenter. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Ronald Sinclair will officiate with burial to take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kosciuszko Club. www.casefuneralhome.com
