Richard LeRoy Cohee

Richard LeRoy Cohee Freeland, Michigan Passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 82 years. The son of the late LeRoy and Leona (Lentz) Cohee was born January 30, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Lila Mae Parks, in 1980. She passed away February 25, 2009. He served with the U.S. Navy. He was employed by C&O and CSX Railroad retiring with over 50 years of service. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Midland and its Men's group. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars, feeding animals and turkeys and collecting treasures. Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Kelly A. and Mark A. Roberts; two stepchildren, Brian Modrall and Renee Modrall; four grandchildren, Jessica Roberts, Brenton, Trenton and Brandi Modrall; a sister, Phyllis Curtis;two sisters-in-law Donna Cohee and Janice Cohee; many nieces and nephews. His dear friends, his right hand and left hand, Karen Bauer and Ruth Swarthout. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Cohee. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Ed Doerner will officiate with Military entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum under the auspices of V.F.W. Post 1859. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday.
