Richard Phillips Sienkiewicz

Sienkiewicz, Richard Phillips Saginaw, MI Passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at age 82 years. He was the son of Stanley and Jennie Dempsey Sienkiewicz, born May 1, 1933 in Saginaw, MI. Richard was a graduate from the old Saginaw High School on Warren Street in 1952 and went on to finish his degree from Bay City Junior college. He entered the U. S. Army December, 1954 and served at the 38th parallel in Korea. Richard was honorably discharged July, 1956. He retired from Allied Tool and Die Company in 1989. Richard spent many summer weekends at his cottage in Edenville and loved the fresh fish that the family caught. He enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, euchre and pinochle. During his lifetime he had dogs and cats as pets. Richard is survived by his sister, Gail M. Parker. He was predeceased by his parents and a nephew, Robert M. Parker on June 30, 2012. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Thursday, July 23, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Susan Hand will officiate with burial in Spaulding Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Saginaw County or a charity of the donor's choice in Richard's memory.
