Richard “Dick” Schultz
Saginaw, Michigan
Loving husband, Father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday November 10, 2020 at home with his family at his side, at the age of 72 years. Dick was born February 11, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late Clayton and Marlyn (LaBonville) Schultz. He married Joan Dengler November 26, 1966 and she survives him.
Dick was a 1966 graduate of Arthur Hill High School; He retired from John E. Green in 2009. Dick was an Avid outdoorsman, including hunting, fishing, camping, he truly loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his grandkids dearly.
Surviving besides his wife Joan are his children; Richard Schultz Jr. and Jill Betz; grandchildren; Katherine Vollmer, Kristen Norman, Nicholas Schultz and Brandon Betz; one great-granddaughter; Alyssandra Schultz; three brothers Dave Schultz, Mike (Jackie) Schultz and Mark (Maureen) Schultz; several nieces and nephews.
Dick was predeceased in death by his grandparents Leo and Arletta LaBonville and Laura Schultz.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday November 16, 2020 at First United Methodist Church 4790 Gratiot Rd., Saginaw, Michigan 48638, with Rev. Amy Terhune to officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. on Sunday from 12:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
